Troy Gilbert, Co-founder
Troy Gilbert, Mockingbird’s CTO and Co-Founder has been creating and programming video games for more than 15 years. He has held numerous engineering and solutions architect positions at Criterion Software and Electronic Arts. He is a leader in the games industry and has been invited to speak at all major game conferences including; GDC, E3, and Siggraph. He has also served as a Visual Engineering Peer Panelist (one of ten judges) for the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences’ annual awards over a five year period.
Andy Price, Co-founder
Andy Price, Mockingbird’s CEO and Co-Founder has been in the game tools and engine industry for 14 years with Metrowerks, Criterion Software, Electronic Arts, and Mockingbird Games. Prior to Mockingbird he was VP of North American Operations for Criterion Software and supported and licensed Criterion’s 3D Graphics Rendering Engine to all major game publishers and 1/3 of all PS 2 titles between 2000-2004, including the game titles and franchises GTA 3 and Call of Duty. After Criterion was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2004, he was EA’s Director of Worldwide Developer Relations. He along with Troy founded Mockingbird Games and began work on Mockingbird Platform in November 2006.
Team
Mockingbird works with a diverse group of artists and programmers, all seasoned games industry and games tools professionals. Typically Mockingbird staffs according to client needs and project pipeline through a combination of employees, partners, and contractors. Mockingbird is a close development and business partner with Aspyr Media and offices with Aspyr in Austin, Texas.
